Dear Colleague,
Congratulations, again, on having your manuscript accepted for presentation at the
2008 American Academy of Advertising conference. Here are instructions on how to prepare your paper/abstract for inclusion in the
conference proceedings. Please note that your final paper/abstract and copyright form must be received by April
4, 2008.
These files are attached here to help in preparing your manuscript:

Here are the steps:
First, decide whether you want to
publish an abstract or full-length paper (see below).
Then, format your paper/abstract
following the instructions above exactly.
Upload your final paper or abstract
to the Confmaster website by April 4,
2008:
http://aaa08.confmaster.net
In deciding whether to publish an abstract or a full-length paper, you may be
interested to know that the AAA has agreements with both EBSCO and ProQuest to have your paper(s) included in their databases, making them
accessible by researchers all over the world! Consequently, I encourage you to seriously consider the merits of publishing a full paper
instead of just an abstract.
Note that there is a 12-page, single-spaced maximum (including references, tables,
etc.) for full-length papers.
The deadline to upload papers/abstracts to Confmaster is April 4, 2008. A copyright
form is also due by April 4, 2008.
There are three ways to send the copyright form to me:
-
-
By fax (573-882-4823)
-
By snail mail, to reach me by April 4 (364 McReynolds Hall, Columbia, Missouri, 65211).
Different from previous years, you as the main author will sign on behalf of all
other co-authors, provided you have received their permission to publish the work (full paper or abstract). Note that your manuscript or
abstract cannot be published in the Proceedings unless I receive the signed copyright form!
To recap, here is what you need to do by April 4,
2008.
1) Prepare your manuscript according to the attached
instructions.
2) Upload your revised paper to the Confmaster website.
3) Send me your signed copyright form by mail, fax or
email.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact
me at srodgers@missouri.edu .
I look forward to seeing you in San Mateo for our 50th
Anniversary Celebration!
Sincerely,
Shelly Rodgers
2008 AAA Vice President
